This is a simple ballgown with a cummerbund and a zipper closure in the back. There is a sewn-in crinoline that can be altered. The dress has no lace or other embellishments.
FIT: I am 5'5" with 32 bust, 26 waist, and 34 hip. On me, the dress is fitted in the ribcage/waist but large in the bust with about 5-6 inches of extra length.
There is no train, but if you are on the shorter side it could be a short sweep train. There is no stretch or elasticity to the dress. And it has pockets!!!
MATERIAL: The material is a silky satin with a little bit of shine. It is not see-through. It is a little bit heavier than other fabrics.
CONDITION:
- This gown was purchased after being used as a try-at-home sample dress. It has never been truly worn or altered.
- The faux buttons on the back are loose and could be fixed by a tailor
- There is a very small snag/pull on the bottom of the dress.
- The straps and armholes look slightly like they could use a cleaning, but it is not visible on camera. There is one blemish on the front of the dress near the hem (picture attached) but outside this are no major blemishes or stains on the inside or outside.
